Sourced from Japan’s idyllic Kobe mountainous regions, our  kobe is reared with the utmost care and devotion. The cattle are nourished on a nutrient-rich diet, resulting in meat with an unparalleled melt-in-your-mouth texture and unbeatable umami flavor.

At our esteemed restaurant, we highly recommend cooking Japanese kobe steaks for a slightly longer period, to medium-rare or medium. This allows the intramuscular fat to caramelize, creating a crisp texture while retaining the steak’s tenderness and unlocking its full flavor.

All of our Japanese Kobe beef is expertly cut at source, with the outer fat trimmed to offer the highest meat-to-fat ratio. We offer two formats to suit your preference:

300g (10oz) Fresh, Cut to Order: Our most popular steak, cut from the center of the  striploin and at least 2cm thick, perfect for pan roasting or cooking over an open flame.

600g (21oz) IQF Frozen: This thicker cut is 4.5cm+ and ideal for searing before oven roasting. It can be served as a sharer on a board or sliced for sukiyaki.

All of our Japanese kobe cattle are assigned a unique traceability ID number from birth, ensuring authenticity. You can check the authenticity of your purchase using the ID number provided on the front of the pack. Our  kobe Sirloin originates from Kagoshima/Miyazaki, Japan.
